I'm having trouble with this but Peter Sellers is in at least two of them. One forecast the Regan presidency as a joke and the other kept me in stitches while hammering home a message of how ignorant we all were on the subject of nuclear weapons.

can't believe no one has said Big Blue yet

Lost in Translation - its a Bill Murray thing (and because it dares to be different in its plot lines)
Big Blue - of course, saw it first in French when I was about 13, fell instantly in love with Jean Marc Barr and discovered freediving about 15 years later
The Life Aquatic - cos I wanna be on Team Zissou
Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistlestop Cafe - mainly because the line about car insurance
Mama Mia (just go see it!)

Are we doing TOP 5? Or as many as we think. :D

My opinion of the BEST MOVIE of ALL TIME would have to be BOONDOCK SAINTS. It Makes sence. A classic for Years to come.

1. Boondock Saints
2. Big Blue
3. Fight Club
4. Batman Movies (all of them)
5. Jungle Book (animation version)

Then of course............

LOTR, Matrix, Snatch, Dead Man's Shoes, Blood Diamonds, Pulp Fiction, Star WARS, Braveheart, One flew over the coocoo's Nest, Old School, Office Space, Ace Ventura, Me myself & Irene, Willy wonka & the Chocolate Factory...........................................

Mostly italian movies and some american:
favourite one: Miracolo a Milano ("Miracle in Milan)
[ame=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miracle_in_Milan]Miracle in Milan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]

the top 5:
"Rome, open city" of Rossellini (I always cry a lot when the mother is shot down by the Nazis in front of her baby)
"Mamma Roma" of Pasolini (I always cry a lot when the boy dies crying mom)
"Amarcord" of Fellini (I always laugh a lot when the uncle climbs on top of the tree and screams "I need a woman!!!")
"Palombella rossa" of Moretti (story of a waterpolo player who blacks out after an accident, and dreams of being the leader of the communist party, or viceversa: you don't understand whether the character is a waterpolo player or a communist leader in his real life)
"Apocalypse Now" (you dont need me to say anything on this, I guess)

PS: All Quentin Tarantino and the Coen bros match my liking a lot, too.
