Hey guys,
I recently bought a pair of cressi-sub gara 3000 LDs. Doing dynamic apnea I can only go around 50m using "regular kicks," and 75-100m doing dolphin kicks in them. So my conclusion is that dolphin kicks are much more efficient. That being said I know I would be able to go a heck of a lot farther using a proper mono fin. What would be a good affordable mono fin for me to use? I weigh 135 I'm 5'8. I'm not afraid of stiff fins in fact I would prefer something much stiffer than the LD's now. But in order to go longer I would assume I would need a fairly flexible fin.
Thanks,
Serafino

Anything made in the U.S. I would hate having to pay because the dollar is so low right now not to mention shipping would be insane. Any suggestions?

I ordered a Waterways Nemo through PFI got it in 4 weeks and LOVE it! I got a long distance(soft) sz 41-43 cost $199 plus shipping I just used it the whole week I was in Kona Hawaii for the PFI advanced class Couldn't be happier,I
will order the Waterways Glide fin next probably the long distance (soft) in the 310mm size I had done a lot of research prior to ordering my mono and believe I made the right choice wishing you the best in finning

Sounds like a good fin. I frequently visit LA do you know of anyone that sells them there? I would hate to buy a fin only to receive it and have it be completely uncomfortable or the wrong size.

not at this time but i'll do some research. Also the nemo footpockets are very close to the cressi footpockets a little wider let ya know DeeDee

Awesome I"ll send you a pm in advance. I don't think I'll be heading down for a little while. Thanks!
