Hey, y'all,

I hope everyone is doing well as this year slowly rolls over. Thread posting here at Deeperblue.net seems to have slowed down a bit...which gives me some catch-up reading time. Despite my love of apnea, this has got to be one of the best asylums from the the depravity that lingers at all levels of the internet, sites as well as other forums. I still love the level of respect that each member has for one another, despite the occasional difference in opinions, beliefs, techniques and outlooks. Where seldom is heard a discouraging word.

Sporasub H. Dessaults come in sizes 44-46 and then 46-48.

If my foot size is 45, what size of fin should I purchase if I'm to wear a 3mm suit.

I don't suppose I'll wear the socks ALL the time, so is there a way one can reach a compromise, or relatively satisfactory median of having a decent-fitting fin with/without 3mm neoprene socks.

I'd also like to hear some favorite brand fin socks that people prefer. I was going to go with the Sporasub socks, but if there's any better, I'd like some input.

I've never owned fins before, so I don't know all the little tricks, pros, cons, and tips.

I know this isn't the first thread regarding this matter, but I need some personal assistance here, as I'm really not that close to any freedive-friendly scuba shops here in Dallas, TX. :(

I'd greatly appreciate any help.
