Can anyone give me some advice on the subject of training programmes.
I've been looking around for some courses and stumbled across one in Qatar eventually.
It is a FII (Freediving Instructors International) course, level one. I'm keen to start at the beginning and get a good solid grounding.
The question I have is; What is the general standard of the FII courses? I understand that a lot of it depends on the instructor, but also the quality of the curriculum plays a large part.
In conjunction with the level one, I'm keen on taking the basic safety course of their's, is it worthwhile?

Hi, Grubby, I have passed FII course, level one and it gave me a lot. I think its standard is quite comparable with other systems and you are right: all depends on the instructor. Great part of the course was focused on safety, so it is sure worth passing. Pavel

I also have taken the FII Level I course and its truely worth every penny. The main thing i brought back from it is becoming a much SAFER diver. Id pay $1000 just to hold onto the knowledge ive recieved in this course. I plan to take Level II some time next year.
