I'm realitively new -32 logged dives. My last 5 dives, I had one heck of a time getting fins off. The only rational explanation I got was, suction between bootie and fin. This is especially bad trying to hold on to the ladder in 3-4 foot seas while struggling with fins.
One suggestion was spray silicon inside fin and outside of bootie. Rather not go that route, seems like I'd be slipping on the deck of the boat....I keep booties on between dives.
The other was drill a hole in each fin. Before I do that, I'd like to get some more input.

Don't see that it matters but I know someone will ask: Apollo split fins and Pinnacle booties. Keep in mind, this was NOT a problem before the last 5 dives.

Thanks in advance,

Joe
