i'm thinking of either getting the cressi 2000 hf or 3000 hf. my question was how well do fins hold up with regular pool workouts? and of these 2 does anyone out there have a preference of these? i liked using the 2000's, but was wondering what difference the 3000 hf has.

I think most of the plastic fins are quite durable. They get scratched easily, but this doesn't affect their performance.

Hi Mako,

The cressi's will do fine in the pool. I've used my 2000hfs in the pool for several years. Scratches them up, but no real damage. Chlorine doesn't seem to bother them at all.
I think the 3000s are a softer fin, which one to use depends on you and what you are trying to accomplish.

I have an old pair of Mares snorkeling fins I use for pool use only- teaching and workouts. I use them about 4-5 days a week for swimming and have owned them for over 17 years! They are a little scuffed up but the last forever.

The Cressi's should hold up just as well, if not better, since they are a sturdier fin all the way around.
