First DIY Pole-spear (+sling in different post)

I was going to wait until these two bad boys were 100% complete before posting pics, but I can't wait any longer.

This is my pole-spear. Six feet of reinforced aluminum tube tipped with two feet of stainless steel and two bands... it packs a bit of a punch, which is good because I'd rather be over-gunned than under-gunned.

I haven't wet tested it yet, but I'm pretty confident that it will meet my expectations. My expectations being that as long as the current isn't too nasty, it'll have enough range, power, accuracy and mobility to take down almost any fish I might find here in BC. The steel slip tip is the only component that has yet to be completed.
