Ok.
Finished my first homemade, scandinavian oak, west system epoxy, both glueing and coating,

A kind of trial and error for the real deal which will be made of teak!

perfectly leagal in sweden, 500mm from outer point to trigger mech!

18mm rob allen, two powersteps due to double loop wishbone underneath the gun, second step has the same penetration to woodtarget as the seatec trb 77cm gun , silenced trigger mech from ebansub.it (recomended)

All in all.. very pleased with the outcome!

EDIT: Also includes a homemade spear 7mm with a sharkfin tab placed only 3!!! mm from the trigger mech and a very extreme short wishbone to increase the effective acceleration lenght!

pictured with first victim, seatrout 5,5kg, of course it's catched outside swedish territorial waters!

Excellent, so that is one way to get around your crazy regulations!
I cant see how you hold the spear in place, I used a line slider on my roller gun.

The shooting line is arranged just as any gun i think??

I restring it with the rubbers just hanging down.. when gun is loaded the shooting line is cramped under the rubbers ... and when firing all the wraps of the line is exiting freely in center between the pair of rubbers, really smooth,

What i think was and still is a headache with roller is how to use 100% of stock lenght and still stretch the rubbers to 300%!

i stretch mine untill 240% approx, but thats enough anyway and rubber stays healthy for longer time hopefully!

If you open the pictures so that you have the in a black frame, you can double click them and they will open in new window, then you can resize them pretty much to see the line, lock at the picture with the gun loaded how the line is going in between the rubbers

Sjukt snygg harpun!
Fina former, gillade särskilt handtaget och linjen bakåt!

Var i Sverige bor och "fiskar" du?
