I just got my first brand-new gun today. A Picasso Cobra Rail 100cm with a 6.5mm spear and a spare 7mm threaded shaft and trident head. The site I went with didn't have regular prangers, which I typically use down here. So, I decided to give the trident a go. Any thoughts on this?

Friend of mine bought Cobra Rail 60.
I had the honor to rig it up. Its cheap in every aspect. Build quality is poor.
19mm band ? Really ?! I can load it with one hand. Looks like its not even latex, just black rubber, soft and slow. Only thing what is nice is the rail. But what u want for 75€ :)))

Yeah it was alright. It was a little long I thought, but I trimmed it down a touch and added a dyneema bridle and it works well. I've used 20mm bands before.

Your trident head will be much slower than a flopper. For close shooting only. I'd use the 6.5 shaft unless you are really close. Should be a good gun.

Yeah absolutely. I use the 6.5 for most reef fish, but I have found the trident great for flathead when shooting top-down.
