LOL! Yeah, I grew it back again last year. The thing is, every few years I grow it back and there's more grey

LOL! Wisdom? Man, the stories I could tell that don't reflect a lot of wisdom! :ban

Lately my buddy Lee has been getting the big ones, and he's a young pup.

Walleye! Earlier this spring (before I got my Camera) a couple of Walleye about that size came along to check me out - visibility was around 15 meters - I saw them first just by the white tips of their tails - the largest approached to within two meters.
I've a shot a smaller one that was very fond of the camera but my pics pending approval in the DB gallery.

You guys are lucky to have such nice friendly spearfishing laws up there

Heres a thumb of the little walleye - they are absolutely superb eating. Also a nice Pike we saw the day before (still working on Photoshop - the originals are VERY green)

Nice pics Fondue....I can only dream about vis like that! If we have 3 metres horizontal we think we're astronauts or Superman!

the amazing thing is that was a really turbulent day!

Yeah, they're pushing hard to keep them out of the Western Provinces, but I wouldn't complain too much if they showed up mysteriously

It's been a complete revolution here. Today was cloudy and I could see 10 meters easily. Use to be 5 was an awesome day.

Wow, terrain in those pics looks very cool. Would love to dive in a lake like that. It looks like a carp in the background, but what is the school of fish.

I've only had this camera for a couple of weeks. These dives are all around the outer breakwall of the Clinch Marina in Grand Traverse Bay. It is a ten minute drive from my house with very convenient entry. The background fish are pretty much suckers and rock bass. I have a bunch of shots here
including I nice sequence of carp taken during a fairly long dive in about 9 meters depth - the carp were in no hurry I'll be adding photoshop filtered versions and some others as time goes on.

Wow, very nices pics!

Viz is so good. Not bad here in St-Lawrence, but not like that. I hunt near the Ontario lake (the nearest part in Quebec), so the vis is still good, but brown enough to be still good for walleyes. When it's windy, or cloudy, it can get very dirty, so you have to be a Brown Water Hunter...
