First Speargun for UK and possibly a couple of Spearo Hols

Hi Guys,

Just getting started with all of this and have to say that I haven't bought the most exciting bit yet!

Can you please advise on a reasonable beginners Spearfishing Gun that would cover me for Spearfishing in the UK (Mainly England) and then a few spearfishing hols a year (most likely not more than two per annum).


Going in with a completely open mind here so fire away with any suggestions. Very interested to hear your thoughts

I'm a beginner and I love my Rob Allan Tuna 90cm (They're on sale at the minute) Can't see myself buying anything else anytime soon. More experienced people may tell you that something a little shorter is better, especially when the viz is poor or you're hunting in shallow reefs, but I'm very happy with it. Even more so if you're planning holidays abroad where the viz is much better and the extra range would come in handy.
