Hi Guys,

I recently speared this fish in Indonesia, I thought it might be a Golden Trevally?

But I looked up Golden Trevalley and them seen to have strips on them? This has no stripes?

Any ideas.

It tasted great by the way ;)

First one definitely looks like a permit and the second one looks like a pompano. We get the pompano here in the Gulf of Mexico pretty thick starting this month.
