Hi -I'm Mick from Trawden in England (East Lancashire). I used to dive but have branched off into spear fishing and have always done sea fishing/ general fishing. I'm coming to Albufeira , Portugal on 20th October for 2 weeks and will be looking to fish/ spear fish every day if poss. I'll have a vehicle so can get around so my initial thoughts are if someone could give me a pointer about licences or recommend any places to go then It would be a good start. I looked briefly at sea fishing licences and it seemed a proper ballache, is it really necessary for a 2 week holiday fish? I don't mind paying if it's easy but they make it more complicated than necessary. If I'm unlikely to get bothered fishing off the rocks/piers with my 12 year old lad then I may not bother (subject to advice.)
