Fix for dying D3?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

Well, it had to happen eventually. The freediving mode on my trusty D3 has stopped working, no depth recognition. Time still works fine. I changed the battery, no result.

Anybody have a way to resurrect a malfunctioning D3?

I don't have a clue, another button is coming of, but your strap still holds up! :D
 
Had to bin mine. Kept resetting. Sent it to Suunto and they sent it back saying it was not fixable.
 
Sounds like Bel's Stinger. They may use the same pressure sensor and be repairable. How old it is and how much to fix are the question.
