hi guys

As the title suggests Iam looking for some information on how to fix monofin footpockets. I have a triton fin standard flat blade fin and the problem is the bit of rubber that connects the heel strap to the footpockets looks as if it has been melted??? It is paper thin and has a few foles appearing through it and it is sticky to touch as if it has been melted by a lighter or something? Is this cause by chlorine? I keep the fin in the boot of my car on days i go to pool it gets pretty hot in there so possibly this is what causes it? Has anyone else seen this with the rubber on their monofins?

What sort of rubber do monofin footpockets use? Can this be purchased and fixed with super glue or something or is the fin stuffed now. i really like this fin and the blade is in excellent condition is it possible to buy footpockets and glue them on or something?

thanks
