New blade/footpocket combo released from italian manufacturer Skorpio (the "entry" brand of C4).
Fins are named the "Skorpio Flame".
Blades and footpockets are sold together in a combo package, already assembled from factory and ready to swim, for a total price of 199 Euro (Italy). Blades and pockets not sold separately as far as I know: only combo.

The Flame blades are 100% carbon with a new texture of T300 and T700 carbon fiber in the usual 3 stiffness levels.
The footpockets they come with are the new, interesting "4One", manufactured by Salvimar. The combo is said to have an angle of 25°.

Are they out on the street yet?
if so, has anyone tried them yet?
they should be pretty good

It's an anticipation of a new product, being delivered to shops in these days.

Maybe our Deeperblue forum member Nata will chime in: she's the Skorpio brand manager and knows it all.

Hi Spaghetti,

Thanks for noting this new release. These flames seem to be a great 100% carbon entry level fin at an awesome price. I heard the $199 euros price will be the final price at the store for the entire footpocket/blade combo.

Skorpio is fulfilling it's promise very nicely with this release. Because they can leave the high price of innovation to their mother brand, the new brand can take full advantage of C4's years know-how and experience working with carbon to produce high-quality equipment that is excellently priced.

I can't wait to see if Skorpio will come out with a speargun line!!

Cheers,
Claudio
