To my understanding, they're quite hard to spot...What do you look out for?

Other than the ones that are moving..

The tail is usually the first thing i spot, then you just look for 2 little lumps which will be the eyes. a lot of the time thats all you'll see, even if you know its there and are looking hard.
 
Old Man Dave and Foxfish are very knowledgable in this area, hopefully they will add some input.
 
Ive posted this in the wrong forum anyway...

So if anyone can move it to the general spearo board, that would be great.
