Float line

It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Yes I hear this all the time from UK based spearos. I would love a spearfishing store up there to start to carry it as it would save me a small fortune.
I guess they won’t because it’s too affordable & doesn’t need replacing for decades. Still if it was packaged & marketed correctly there is no reason it couldn’t be sold at a higher price to match that of the current offerings.

I will continue to get the Lomo Hollow braid from either Ebay UK and or Amazon UK as it looks like the same rope and is described just like you described the 6mm Ski rope you are using.
Lomo ¼" / 6mm hollow braid polypropylene rope will float on the water and is resistant to mildew and rot. This is a multi-purpose rope that is very versatile and can be easily spliced. Our ¼ inch floating rope is yellow in colour making it easier to see on the water. This helps when hooking the line and retrieving it from the side of a boat or on the dock.
