just watched some videos of some euro spearos. I found they rig their floats a little different than i do. I use a torpedo float, the floatline is attached to the handle of y gun and a stringer on the end side of the float.
I noticed some euro spearos, (because most of them use reels) have a more complex setup:
Starting from the float, a line goes from the tip of the float to the stringer (with a cork to avoid fish puncturing the float) the stringer is then attached to the line winder of the float line, and at the other end a pendulum weight, that doubles as a buoy anchor or a pendulum to go deeper fr groupers.
I was wondering how members here setup their floats?? also what sort of accessories do you attach to your float? (spare gun, gaff, water bottle??)
cheers
