Jeff is no longer on deeper blue, but he has updated the Florida Springs website for those who are interested. The links are now to Virtual Earth locations, so you can see the Google Earth view and Virtual Earth view side by side. He will be updating the FGS links sometime soon. (Right now, they are broken.)

There is also a new link to a page called GEVE (for "Google Earth - Virtual Earth Synchronized Viewer"). It opens a GE and VE window side by side, and as you pan, zoom, rotate and tilt in either one, the other is automatically updated to the same view. (In GE you tilt and rotate using the middle mouse button, in VE, you use CNTL and the left mouse button.) You have to install Virtual Earth 3D, and the Google Earth API to use it.

Here's the link: spring.freediver - Freediving Florida Springs

Thanks for the post and link! Tell Jeff that we miss him!

Also, I am planning a camping trip to some Tallahassee area springs 9/13-9/14 if you all are interested.

Thanks,

Scott
