Gah! It must be a full moon or something.

Boss gone schitzofrenic, my work lappy keeps crashing, dog was going mental and destroyed the lid to my spa pool and now i've lost the cover to my fin strap attachment clip thingy.

And the icing on the cake? Said schitzoid boss forcing me to come into work on rugby world cup day, given theres going to be like 50,000 extra tourists clogging up the city, when I should be in the bar watching it on sky sports!

Gout buddy!! Call in with gout, apparently hard to tell if you have it or not from a bosses perspective! Or if you've a fast metabolism do my old trick in the RAAF. Skip breakfast, head to medical with an insanely hungry stomach, tell them you have gastro, he'll listen to your belly and agree. Voila, rugby on TV!

Eat some really gnarly Thai food night before, pop into work, make a major head call without the vent on :yack...tell'em "Houston we've got a problem" and split for the day. :blackeye Was gonna suggest some REAL Southwest Texas Tex-Mex quisine but I doubt y'all have that available there.

Well thank you all for the fantastic ideas..but the collective positive vibes worked out - the datawarehouse (oracle) crashed after a hardware failure so I was out by noon!

GO THE MIGHTY ALL BLACK!!! woohoo!
