Happy Birthday Sir and here’s to a good one.:friday:friday

Happy Birthday Chris. Hope you have a great day. You are the picture myster, no doubt about it.

Dave.

To the one who exemplifies all the best in freediving and a level of crazyness that only a few of us can aspire to.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!

Just how old does this make you??? or will you tell?

Thank you fellow underwater persons! I am very much happy from such nice sayings!!

Today I went for a dive at one of my alternate sites -due to access being blocked by The National Cherry Festival -and drunken boaters racing around waiting for the Blue Angels.

Vizibility was less than good so I swam quite far out. To get there I had to cross the mouth of a harbor maybe 100 meters. Since I am already almost ancient I thought I would sprint the whole way to see if I would die. I did not, but I was exhausted at about the 3/4 mark. I felt depressed. The whole swim had felt really hard - not just the sprint - there weren't even any goddamn fish. I made it across and began to reel my float in out of the way of the precious f%$#king boaters. Thats when I noticed it was turned sideways. With the line stuck in one of the loops so the edge of my Omer Shardana was digging perfectly into the water when I pulled on it - making my monofin sprints really good from a workout standpoint - but kinesthetically arduous...to put it mildly.

I swam out about another 400 meters or so - saw a nice golden carp in the crap viz at about 30 feet (down deeper it was 'crashing into things' bad) and started to make my way back.

Well, word must've spread. I decided to check another spot, maybe 500 yards away, and all my pals showed up. The carp were downright impetuous -with an armlength being the rule proximity-wise. No need to wait or stalk - they just came right over. Saw a massive largemouth bass - not common around here, two beautiful Walleye - one of which was huge - and numerous freshwater drum.

Got home and my beautiful new Starfins Hyper had arrived.

So its been a swell day - made better by the good wishes of so admirable a group as you all:friday

Bp? Excellent! This brings to mind I dreamed of mister Fond last night, and forecast a huge Olive oil spill on his way. The horror...the horror...

As for the controversial debate about his age....... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9Urs4URuTk]YouTube - Neil Sedaka HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEET 16 ??????? ????16?[/ame]
