This thread is for ideas on days of pool or dive training on what to eat and what not to. I.e porridge 2 hours before is a no no and beans to it's not nice when you burping beans and porridge while praticing

I don't have any specific ideas about what food you should or should not eat. But I guess it have been mentioned before on this forum, that from a safety point of view you should probably not dive with low carbohydrate stores.

Low carbohydrates stores (caused by fasting or prolonged exercise) could lead to lower oxygen levels at the end of a breath-hold, possibly increasing the risk for black-out. This is because lipid metabolism requires more oxygen than carbohydrate-based metabolism.

Porridge is just boiled ground oats (avena).
