I ordered the finis monofin competitor. It was a cheap catch for 113 Euro bought at amazon. This is my first monofin and today it arrived. I was thrilled to give it a try at my local pool. But....

It was realy hard to swim straight forward!! I thought maybe it is my bad kicking technique and I need some time for adaptation from bi-fins to mono.

However when I came home I took a closer look at the fin and I realised that the footpocket is not correctly aligned on the blade.

Is this a common production error? Can I fix it by my self? Or do you think I should send it back?

Thanks in advance,
Peter
