Hey guys,
I have some really wide feet. In the near future I am thinking about purchasing some carbon fins. I am looking for a footpocket that would fit my wide feet. Maybe H Dessault? Captain Nemo? I have heard OMER has good pockets for wide feet but the shop I want to buy from doesn't have that option, and I have heard their quality control on fins is less than satisfactory for some individuals.. So H Dessaults.... Anyone with wide feet have experience with these? How about the Captain Nemo's? Any help is appreciated!

I have fairly wide feet and the Omer and Pathos both fit me well in the width department.

The Pathos really are awesome, especially when paired with lightweight carbon blades.

Do a search for them and I also have a review on my blog.

The Omer Stingrays are a completely different style of footpocket. They are SOLID and comfortable for my feet, but I much prefer the Pathos, personally.

I have really wide feet and the Dessaults are comfortable for me when I weart 3 mm socks in warm water. I use Imersion E-carbons in cold water (Alaska). They have a very wide footpocket that I can get into in a hurry when it's well below freezing.

Thanks, man! Can you help me out a little more? hahaha! As I don't really have the money right now for something like C4's or anything like that. What's a really good carbon fin for a good price? How about leaderfins? Spierre? I don't know of a U.S. distributor of Spierre though..

Thanks, hteas! I will probably get some H Dessaults Or Captain Nemos :)

For huge feet, Mako has something called the Big Kahuna.

14-15!!
They look pretty nice, hahaha! What do you think of Nautilius NS series fins? http://www.nautilusspearfishing.com...rbon-blades-spearfishing-freedive-fins-combo/ I was reading a Speardiver thread started by Dan (the owner) who said that Andrew at Nautilius re-brands leader fins.. But some say otherwise. They look like pretty nice fins. What do you think? I don't have much experience or knowledge in the Carbon Fin section of gear, hahaha. Thanks for posting those makos btw!!

Pathos are defintely a wider model then Omer, i know because i have omer size 38/40 and i bought a set of pathos fireblades size 36/38 and they are still wider then the omer!! They make them particularly wide, they are very comfy though

Hi Milan,
I now own a set of Pathos footpockets and I love them. Thanks for replying. We can probably close this thread unless anyone has other footpocket questions..
