This article reminded me...

My dive buddies have told me that when I come up from a static it looks as if I don't breathe! Sometimes I have noticed that I come up and give the OK sign while still holding my breath. Even with dry statics I have noticed that I am not usually out of breath after a max static, and so I only take shallow breaths. Strange considering that only a few seconds before I was fighting the urge to breathe...
Now it seems that I'm not the only one.
It hasn't been a problem for me so far - I have never had a blackout or samba after surfacing, and my dry static PB was clean. (Otherwise it wouldn't be a PB...
) It feels like the best way for me.
Is there a best way of breathing after a max apnea performance?
