Forum Simplification

Hi DB'ers...

We wanted to let you know that we've spent some time tidying up the forums. We've gone through and moved a few threads around, collapsed some forum/sub-forums together and generally tried to make it a bit easier to find what you need.

This has been an extensive reshuffle but here are some of the highlights:

• The Freediving and Spearfishing "Find a Buddy" sections have been merged into International Buddy Network & Trip Reports - DeeperBlue.com Forums
• Spearfishing Category Sub-Forums have been collapsed into the 7 main forums (apart from Spearfishing Equipment which retains sub-forums)
• Freediving Category now has no "Find a Buddy" forum, now replaced by the "International Buddy Network"

Further consolidation may continue over the coming days as further reviews occur.

Following on from the simplifcation we're also announcing that the Community Blogs hosted on the forums (DeeperBlue.com Forums - Blogs) are being shut down this weekend (21st January 2012). There is little usage of the community blogs and are attracting quite a lot of spam posts.

If people are interested in contributing then we have open positions for bloggers and writers via DeeperBlue.com.
