Hi ya, I'm new.
Is everyone taking photos while free diving or with scuba? I'm new to underwater photo and have only tried it while doing scuba, is everyone taking photos while freediving, Ive been meaing to try freedive photos at avalon's Casino point reserve, lots of photo ops there.

i'd imagine that since most of us are purely freedivers, that's probably how everyone's releasing their shutters. ;)

it's amazing how much easier it is to approach skiddish fish without bubbles.

no bubbles

andrsn & crazy frenchman,
true enough, when I freedive haggerty's cove, the guitar fish follow me around. The bat rays lay still and I can lay right beside them. I will have try with camera asap. As for spears, I haven't speared anything since I was a kid (did much more freediving back then) but will have to try again soon. (Halibut is good this year from what I've heard) I will try to abstain from posting too many pics taken with scuba. I may post a few though to get some critiques.:hmm

fishhead,

a pic is a pic. please enlighten us w/ your work. share, share, share! :D

we've(aquiles and i) gotten to the point where we can lay amongst a group of resting nurse sharks and fit right in. freediving is an amazing window to nature in a marine environment.

Less talk, more pix!

Don't matter if its SCUBA or freedive, but when are you going to post your pix?

Here is another shot I took when I was rapidly running out of air and had no fish in my sights....(an unidentified corral composition)...
