My 8 year old lass is learning to freedive, well - she's snorkelling anyway.
I got her a Cressi Rondinella kit which is great. With neoprene socks the fins fit perfectly and the mask is quality. Paired this kit with a Cressi Dry Junior snorkel so she doesn't have to worry about inhaling water - it's fool-proof.
My issue is the wetsuit. Best I could find for her age group is an Osprey steamer with dreadful neck seal. It flushes like hell and she gets too cold long before she gets tired of exploring the sea and all its fascinating inhabitants. I need a decent suit for her, preferably 5mm. Anyone know of anyone who makes something like that for small people?
