Free-diving teen takes last breath

It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I'm not familiar with these media sources; is the second one significantly more respected than the first? I definitely take your side on these sorts of matters but do you know for certain which story is correct, as they are very different accounts?

Yep same story. The dodgy one was published on the 1st page of that paper the day after the incident. Playing devil's advocate it is possible that the reporter was given the wrong information on what actually happened due to the illegal activities taking place, but the reporter also got the spelling of the name and the age of the deceased wrong which indicates crap reporting to me.

The 2nd article was published 3 days after the incident and obviously had more facts than the first one. What hacks me off is that reporters sensationalise freediving as a dangerous sport and include diving for lobster and spearfishing along with it in order to boost mortality figures.
