I love my fins and all my freediving supplies, but I often find it so much more enjoyable to freedive without anything- except maybe a mask. I find that even in very cold water, I'd rather dive without a wetsuit for a shorter period of time, than in one for hours. I wonder if there are any benefits to doing it this way? Does anyone else feel the same? I know it is definitely more challenging because you have to work much harder, and that makes it more difficult to relax, therefore it takes time to be able to hold your breath at longer intervals. This forces you to get more involved in the experience and pay attention to yourself- which is why I am so stubborn about gearless diving!

I went to dive this Saturday in one flooded mine. Not deep, but it was colder on the bottom. And I was definitelly glad to have my wetsuit. Luckily, mine is wearable without conditioner, so .... ;)
Anyway, I like to be in wetsuit.
