Hehe, I just had to write about my fortune. There's this guy, Reggie, and he's a shipwrite. So he has tons of teak just laying around. He hears that I'm building a speargun (a 48" shaft) and just happens to have a 52" piece of "scrap" teak sitting there at his shop. So he takes me over and not only gives me the piece, but cuts it to size (width and height) and routes it all as well! It was amazing.

So I'm a happy guy right now :)
 
Cool, now it looks like all that's left to do is start sanding. Dont fotget to post some pics.

yeah, that's what i've been doing for the last three or four hours. it looks pretty good now. I don't own a digital camera, but i think i can borrow one pretty soon. it mght just end up being of the finished product though.
 
That's just beautiful! You must be very proud to have such a nice gun :inlove
 
oh, i love it to pieces. its just so sad that after a season it will be ugly because of all the scratches from banging it around.
