Hey Scott,
I know my English sucks and probably you got me wrong.:)
All I said is glowsticks stop glowing in cold environment (50 F is too cold for a glowstick)..Plan ahead to avoid disappointment.:)

Thanks Kalin. We'll keep them above the thermocline. Your English is just fine. Scott's could use some work.

Hey Crappie Killer!!
Hope you all enjoy it.
I can't wait to watch the video.

I am heading up Tomorrow evening and will message back to WreckRunner or Jon to post what Camp sites I have reserved. See Alot of you there!!!!!!

that's just not a nice thing to say Ted.....

I would characterize Scott as something less sinister....perhaps an opossum.

A quick note about the Palooza! It was a great trip and the Lake is awesome.

The Cast & Crew. (See if I can remember them all off the top of my head. Myself and Whopperhead got there first on Wednesday late afternoon. Scott's brother Randy showed up from Minnesota later that night. Thursday while we were out diving the first morning I noticed a couple that came down the hill to our entry point. I decided to go in and switch to try my monofin and see if they were there for Palooza. Turns out they were, it was Reason and his wife Judy. I don't recall Reason from posts, but that does not matter, he's there to dive and that is what counts! I asked why he was standing around and told him to get in the freakin water! I believe it was SlimSteve, then Kevin Cook to show up. Early afternoon WreckRunner and Nostres showed up. After that UFC star Brock Lesnar showed up! rofl Kidding, it was Waterhawk. On Friday Jon and Ted showed up.

Friday and Saturday was a lot of diving and trying different fins and gear. Sharing stories, tips and tricks. Saturday morning Nostres hit 135 feet. I had the pleasure of being the safety on that dive. I was holding the line and watching the time. right at 45 seconds the buzz of the carabiner on the lanyard stopped and there was a thunk. I started my dive and felt his pull on the line as he started back up. I met him at 33 feet and we were back at the surface. The bottom plates were confirmed at 135ft. Pete was hoping for deeper and said he felt great during and after the dive. That was the end of the morning dives. I was done diving after that. Not sure what it was but I my mind was done. The rain came in again and it just seemed to deflate me.

I will review the fins and go into a little more detail on the diving and weather and new friends that were made. All the people that showed up are nice, and great people.

All pictures below by Scott Whopperhead.
Thanks for a great time boys and girl.

Lots of rain this year, even lightning evacuation exit but we still had a blast.
Not everything went as planned like Dr.Jeremy's research, heart rate monitor failed on me and we lost all data. Usual cold water sinus problems for many of us. After all, great times and I am always happy to meet my Soggy Bottom Boys no matter how deep we go. We'll go deeper next time.

Too bad many of You guys didn't make it, fix it next year.

Here's the last of what I have. We decided to take a side trip over to the old tallings pond near the quarry. Scott jumped in to check things out as I'm not sure that anyone has ever dove there before. Most people come up to Wazee to go deep, so a shallow lake next to the quarry doesn't generate much interest. We saw a lot of wildlife above the water, but it doesn't sound like he found too much below.
