Freedive for Sport Relief!

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Good on you Sam, I have made my donation & will try to promote your idea....good luck Mart.

Did it!
This is to let you know that we successfully completed our underwater mile attempt at Helston Pool last night - we swam 5.3 miles between 5 of us and all but the newest freediver swam a full mile underwater - so the rest of us did a little bit extra to make up! This was a total of 343 lengths of Helston Pool (65 is a mile!). It took about an hour and a quarter - and in that time each freediver spent around 43 minutes holding their breath!

The divers were: Sam Kirby ( 80 lengths) , Hannah Stacey (80 lengths), Miles Hoskin (65 lengths) , Dave Thomasson (76 lengths) and Toby Jones ( 42 lengths)

We're trying to raise £1000 for Sport Relief and are about half way there - you can sponsor us on www.mysportrelief.com/saltfree
