IMO this method for the top puts too much stress on the suit.
I put my head in first, then one arm through, then the next.
Not so noticeable in a 3mm but very noticeable in a 7. I've seen a smooth skin 3mm explode like a balloon using the two arms method.
Another thing for cold water divers is to fold over 4-6" of the pants for a good seal to the top.
