New to the site, pretty new to Texas. looking for good area's to train at, i get weird looks where ever i show up at and stranger ones when i come right back up. So figures freediving in Austin was kind of alein. I dont consider myself the greatest freediver so any advice and tips would be cool, and somebody please tell kayakers and boaters that the dive flag doesn't mean come check him out,

Hi Luckydeep6, Welcome to DB. There are a fair number of Texan DBers. Search for "Texas" and you should find threads and divers not too far away from you. Rig diving off Texas is awe inspiring, wish I could see it again.

Thanks for the tip, I've checked out most of the dive shops here in Austin, they all seem to be really cool people. I've even found some interesting gear and advice at the triatholon shops.
