Hello ladies and gentlemen,
I was raised in the Puget Sound area. I became NAUI certified in 1971 at the age of 14. I now live in Oregon City, Oregon. Not a lot of diving around here. I have been fortunate to have vacationed in Maui a few times in the last few years, and the bulk of my snorkel and scuba diving has been there.
I've got a secret crush on Tanya Streeter. (That's a bit of hyperbole. I'm happily married to the love of my life, but Ms. Streeter is a Siren, isn't she?) I saw her Freediver documentary on Animal Planet and decided that's the kind of diving I'd really love to do. She easily drops down to 10m and hangs out there for a very long time. I'm not interested in setting records or really deep dives; maybe "Enhanced Snorkeling" would be a reasonable description.
I'm looking forward to discussions with you-all.
Tim

Welcome aboard! (your username is a bit of a mouthful - care to explain?)

Thanks for the greetings, everyone.

I sometimes play guitar and lead singing at our church, so
"WrshpMzshn" stands for Worship Musician

But I like Warship Midshipman, too. I'm a fan of C.S. Forester.
