This question is directed towards the SA spearos.

Ever heard of 'Freedivers' guns. Just wondering what your opinions of these are?

Yea I heard of em, one of the guys at the club actually sells em. Its a very good gun and priced pretty well too. Give it a go if you wanna...

Yeah, I think I know who you talking about, cos he offered me a new 1.1 for R560. Which I checked out on Friday, it looked okay to me (not that I know too much about guns). It's a rail gun. So he is keeping one for me which I'm gonna go get at the end of this month (when I get paid). I'm so stoked! He said that the price is the same no matter which size gun I choose. But most people say a 1.1 is a good allrounder

Perfect all rounder gun they get a bit cumbersome in tight kelp situations but you lern the tricks as you go along. As far as I know the barrel construction is the same as the rabiteck carbon barrels with steel rings to the inside and a rail is allways good to have. I havent used them so cant say much about the trigger but it seems like a fine price so I say go for it :)

Hi Lenny
I've got a 1.1m freedivers gun, no problems with it thus far.
The first time I pulled the trigger on that bad boy I shot a tail while drifting on the surface nogal. Doesn't sound bad at all at that price.
