Freediving and Spearfishing in Costa Rica

Hey!

Headed to Costa Rica on Wednesday for a week long trip. Was wondering if anyone had any advice for some near-shore spots we could try out from the beach, or best places for grabbing a boat and heading out further. Having trouble finding any actual suggestions of places! Itinerary is super flexible, flying in to San Jose but have a car. Any info is much appreciated!
