I confirmed starting my freediving course with Steve (Apneaboy) last night.

I am really looking forward to it, we are doing the freediver** and it look's like there is alot to learn even coming from a scuba diving background.

I can't wait!
 
Enjoy Ryan. There's a few things that you won't have to learn if you come from Scuba, plenty to learn and a few things to unlearn lol let us know how you find it

I am sure there is things to unlearn too as you said, seems like coming from scuba helps and does not at the same time!

I will keep everyone updated with how it goes. I start on the 11th of May
 
I did my 2* course with apneaboy last year, it was great. Lots of fun and learnt a lot. Started my 3* course with him too :)

Hope you enjoy it mate! Might see you at a freediving session some time if you decide to carry it on, which I'm sure you will ;)
 
Started my prep a few days ago for the freediving course, I could hold my breath for 2:30 and after doing some things Steve had suggested and building on it each time I have just done a 3:20 hold. Massive difference when my contractions kick in remaining calm.

Yep, been using an iphone app for my tables its easier! called breath hold by 7zillion.com

Managed a 3:50 Static hold last night I am finding relaxing more during contractions seems to be what I need to focus on more.

I finished my freediving course last wednesday night, got alot out of the course and plan to keep going with it.
