Hi, looking to take a freediving course in Alberta. I'm located in Calgary and would prefer something in that area. Is anyone aware of courses near me?

Thanks in advance,

Shawn

Hello Shawn,

Fellow freediver from Alberta here. I’m away travelling but saw your post and thought I’d send you a line. I took AIDA1 and a Surf Survival course in Calgary with Luca from Sea to Sky Freediving. He’s a great instructor and comes to Calgary for courses even though his main business is in the Vancouver area. I recommend him very highly. I believe he’s in the Philippines for the winter but will be back.

I’ve just left Egypt where I did my AIDA 2 and 3. It only gets better and better! There is a small but friendly community in Alberta, I hope you take the first steps.

Best,
Adam
