Thanks Kars. Living where I do (Curacao), I rarely have the patience to wait for DVD's to crawl and doggy-paddle to me, so if I can order them on iTunes, that's my preferred method. The press release specifically mentioned iTunes so there I was, on the 18th, looking for it. I was wondering if there was an inside scoop or perhaps it had a different name or something...

Thanks though, if all else is lost, I'll order it on Amazon and wait 12 weeks.

Will's Facebook page:
(…) Breathe on iTunes has been delayed for a week and change due to a technical issue on their end... We'll let you know as soon as this has been resolved.
That was on the 20th, so I guess they still having some issues…

I have already two copies, ordered from amazon 3 months ago.

Must see documentary, must have documentary.

The producer is a little peeved with the distributor for shifting the iTunes release date back again and again... They are now saying the end of this month for sure. In the meantime it can be ordered on DVD of course.

Will there be cinema screenings?

Does anyone know of a screening in London?

I got the DVD 3 days ago. Very good documentary but kinda incomplete, leaves you hungry for more like the unfinished story. I'd love to see something like 2 or 3h documentary or the whole saga about the freediving and its heroes (maybe James Cameron has got something like that upon his sleeve).
Must have for any freediver or at least must see for the rest. This movie will take your breath away ;-)

The "Breath" is not incomplete. We are incomplete as freedivers. We will never be satisfied even if the movie was 20hrs!! Like the "Le grand bleu" most of us have seen this 20-30 times or more....

The blue has no bottom so why we have a bottom as true lovers of the blue...?

Where did you order?

Sweeeeet. I've just pre-ordered it. They're telling me 6 November but whatever, it'll turn up at some point next week I guess and I'll get to watch right before I go spend a weekend training with Carlos Coste in Bonaire.

Kars - I reached the end of my Dutch as you reached the end of your first sentence. "Film review" - I'm adding that one to my memorisation list!

To be honest, Curacao is doing okay. Not crazy good but not too bad. The tourist economy is so small here, relative to other islands in the region, that it's not that hard to grow it (and it is still growing, year on year).

There are No freedive instructors on the islands!! Very few swimming teachers (but check out Zwemschool The Swimfactory Curacao) and plenty of dive shops where you could probably get a job if you're interested (PM me for my email address if you want to talk more). Have you heard of the Total Immersion method of swimming? I'm curious as to how we could apply it to freediving.

Review will be posted as soon as I watch the movie!

Tot ziens!
