Freediving europe

Hi there, my wife and I completed ssi level 1and 2 freediving in Koh Tao with Akim from Blue Immersion, Thailand last summer. Now we are looking for a good spot in europe to take it to the next level. Preferably we woud like to train with a good instructor, freediving and some yoga for two or three weeks next summer. So i'm hoping for some good suggestions!

Well now you've been bathed in some warm tropical waters, why not become a real deep space diver and try out a Swedish Fjord? Sebastian Naslund is an excellent instructor, lives simply in the countryside, and has a nice deep divespot, as well as a boat, sled etc. I went to his Nordic Deep event, and just like many others I found the place very nice and warm. Even the No suit no fins dive was actually very nice!

I love Norway, Sweden and their fjords, spent some summer- and wintervacations there allready, but was'nt into freediving yet. Now idea what to expect under water, but will certainly keep it in mind..

Hi Maurice, I don't have suggestions for freediving holidays in europe.
Nanja of enker.nl plans trips to Dahab two times a year, so maybe that is an option?
If you are active on FB you might join the group Dutch freediving if you are interested.

Kars, I am thinking very seriously about going to Nordic Deep this year. Rem told me about his experiences last year. Looks like a very friendly and relaxed event.

Great! We went to Dahab this month (8-17). Nanja organized it and we were with about 14 Dutch freedivers. It was great and I want to go back!
