Ok...

so the sob story:

- so i've had a FII float, 60m of doable braid, and shunt release system, bottom plate and ballast along with Lanyards and other bit stolen from my place.

i need to organise a new system for both deep freedivie training and teaching Freediving courses.
i'm looking for advice on a good float setup.

it needs to be large enough to hold a 10kg bottom plate, be round and stable, have plenty of handles.

options i've found so far:
- FII float (had it already and it was quite good)
- We Freedive (friend has it and i dont like it much...sorry)
- Neptune (too expensive and the design isnt grat in my opinion)

any help would be miuch appreciated.

thanks in advance

DD

divingdane if you have a look at the video posted a couple of weeks ago ssi instructor course look at the line diving riggs used.
I made these for $300 nz dollars each for the float, rope ,baseplate ,and all the stainless steel components.
we have 2 we connect together with float line with pool noodles over it (good for breathing up)
if your interested i can give you the details of how to make one more like assemble one they are so easy to put together i would never buy one

Hey all,

just stumbled across this thread and am very interested

I am wondering what you all like in and want from a freediving float. I would like to create the best float out there and am looking for any kind of feedback you can give on what you have liked/not liked/been looking for/... in any and all floats that you have used.

Any comments greatly appreciated.

:) Richard
