hi all,

Im visiting the US, and about to arrive to florida next month. from what I heard the Keys are the place for freediving.

I would be glad to get some recommendations

is there a place i can freedive right off the shore or a boat is necessary each time?

The inshore areas are all rocks and grass beds, if you want to dive the reefs you will need a boat to take you out. John Pennecamp park in Key Largo runs tours every day, I'm sure there are local guides and charters that would take you out for a day trip too.
