Hey everyone,

I'm moving to Anchorage Alaska and I was wondering if any of you have done any freediving in that area?

Thanks!

I leave in Anchorage for the last six years, I am yet to go spearfishing around here but may be you can change my mind.

Is that you, Ben?
Just curious. If not, I've been freediving in Southcentral Aalska since 1998. Mostly cold and clear in early spring (April), and warmer water (up to 55 F) in summer, with visibility of 1 to 6 or 7 M.

My name is Jeff, it looks like I'll be moving to Anchorage in June or July. I'm visiting next week to find a place to live. Washington is my home now so I'm used to cold water. I'll be bringing up my 14 foot Zodiak so I'll have a boat to dive from. It would be nice to have some local divers to come along! I'm really looking forward to some great Alaska diving!
