freediving in europe

Hello all

Im hoping that you may be able to help. I am hoping to nip off to somewhere warm in Europe to do a couple of days freediving at the end of august. We will only have 3 full days free diving max and would need an instructor/course as we are both beginners. Can anyone recommend decent places to go and any companies who offer courses in europe?

Please help, I have looked everywhere and am just not sure what will be good!

There is a really great school in Greece that you can visit. I know the guy who owns the school and you will surely get some good value if you visit this location. The guys name is Stavros, he's and AIDA instructor trainers and has been training freedivers for a great many years. You can send him and email : skastrinakis@yahoo.com and he can let you know the best options for you given your situation. If you want to travel some where a bit further you can visit us in Dahab egypt. We teach a full ranger of AIDA courses as offer well as personal training options. Good luck and all the best,

But then again I might be biased ;-) (I actually come from Cyprus but if you are only going for 3 days it's a bit far to be worth it)

Also I would recommend considering doing an intro course in London before going - you can learn the basics and you'll enjoy your precious diving time abroad a lot more and focus a bit more on open water. Contact me if you need some recommendations...
