Freediving in Peru

Does anyone know of freediving possibilities in Peru? I’m heading there
for a conference in October and am wondering if there are any good dive
spots not too far from Lima.

i went to the beach in Lima in 1993 - it look pretty murky and the water was brown. i did see some dive centres further north though, in Trujillo.

Send a pm to Azapa. He lives there. he dives regularly, and is an Apnea Academy Instructor

Azapa's in Chile, a bit of a hike from Lima, Peru.

Still, he comes all the way to Florida to dive with me, so he might be crazy enough to try Lima.
