Ah to be young and full of vigor and ambition. :blackeye

thanks for the heads-up scrounger... optimism never hurts though :)... Had a couple break off last year on the kayak... they were no deeper than 20ft i figure (u know, the ones that get away)... I did manage to land a 41" and 38" that cooperated a bit better!! Well there were a few that would not even budge I tell ya... I figure with the 250# dyneema and a 6.75mm spear in the side of one of those big boys, I may be able to convince one to come up ;)... I picked up the liquid image mask so I should be able to share some of the fish stories hopefully!

:friday
happy hunt'n!

Let me how the mask works--I may invest in one if it works well.

if you start diving a lot now you might be able to chase the big boys down deep when it warms up

Hey, is anyone still active on here? My friend and I got into spearfishing last summer and are trying to up our game this season. We live in RI and are trying to get into blue water

New to the forums. Kinda covers my area. I used to dive weakapaug a lot and watch hill light before it got super popular. Back on the boat again, launching outta Groton CT and mostly diving fishers island recently. Anyone on here over this way at all?

Wow this is an old thread... I dont come by the forum too much anymore, but I'm always looking to go spearfishing in RI... I live in Somerset MA so i dont make it down to South County often but Newport, Jamestown and Little Compton have some good spots. PM me if you want to go some time.
