I'm in Thailand until mid February and I'm would really like to do some freediving while I'm here. Unfortunately I'm traveling without a buddy, that could dive with me. All the freediving schools where I could find like-minded people, are on very touristic islands and I'm allergic to mass tourism and don't want to go there. I did the SSI 1-3 Indonesia and I spent time training on the canaries and in Egypt. Therefore I'm not necessarily looking for instruction or supervised training.

Now I'm wondering if anybody could recommend me some less touristic places in Thailand, where freediving or spearfishing is done and/or offered.

Please contact me as well on the off-chance that you are here in southern Thailand in a similar situation.

Thank you in advance for your replies.
Marc
